GETTING THERE

From Bank Tube Station to The Forge Bar, it’s a relatively short walk of about 7-10 minutes. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Exit Bank Tube Station: Follow signs towards the exits. Bank Station has several exits, so look for signs directing you towards “Poultry” or “Cheapside” as these exits are closest to your destination.
2. Walk along Poultry: Once you’ve exited the station, you’ll find yourself on Poultry, a bustling street in the heart of the City of London. You’ll see various shops, restaurants, and office buildings along this street.
3. Continue onto Queen Victoria Street: After a short walk along Poultry, you’ll reach a junction where you can turn left onto Queen Victoria Street. This street is wider and usually has heavier traffic. As you walk along Queen Victoria Street, you’ll pass by iconic landmarks such as Mansion House and the Bank of England.
4. Turn left onto New Bridge Street: After walking for a few minutes along Queen Victoria Street, you’ll come to a junction where you’ll need to turn left onto New Bridge Street. This street runs parallel to the River Thames and offers some nice views of the river.
5. Arrive at The Forge Bar: Continue straight on New Bridge Street, and you’ll soon spot The Forge Bar on your left-hand side. It’s located at 24 Cornhill, London EC3V 3ND.
