It’s based on a narrow street in a vibrant area popular with students, however, it can be easily missed as the Seven Stars sign is positioned high up on the building. It’s a 1-minute walk from Canterbury Cathedral.

Getting There

From Canterbury West Station, walking to The Seven Stars Pub is a pleasant stroll through the historic streets of Canterbury. Here’s a suggested route along with some points of interest you may encounter:

  1. Exit Canterbury West Station and head southeast on Station Road.
  2. Turn right onto St. Dunstan’s Street.
  3. Walk along St. Dunstan’s Street, passing by various shops, cafes, and restaurants. You’ll also see St. Dunstan’s Church on your right, a beautiful medieval church worth a visit if you have the time.
  4. Continue straight on St. Dunstan’s Street until you reach St. Peter’s Street.
  5. Turn left onto St. Peter’s Street and continue walking.
  6. As you walk along St. Peter’s Street, you’ll pass by Canterbury Christ Church University campus on your left. Take in the historic buildings and the vibrant atmosphere of the university area.
  7. Keep walking straight on St. Peter’s Street until you reach the intersection with Stour Street.
  8. Turn right onto Stour Street. Here you’ll find quaint shops, old houses, and possibly some street performers adding to the lively ambiance.
  9. Follow Stour Street until you reach The Seven Stars Pub on your left.
